    xr4

    A owner of a ford xr4 decided he wanted to leave me behind at the lights.TDI polo left him for dead,in a cloud of black exhaust.When will they learn.

    Yes i know.beat me over the head with a blunt object.I got to the speed limit at 80 and he flew past,obviously late for an appointment.

    Its not racing there, you were just keen to get to the speed limit, and by the sound of it, the XR4 driver was too, he just couldn't get there as fast as you...

    Yes the car is remarkably slow, looks alot faster than it goes.

    Also, Camry Sportivo's in manual are really not to be trifled with even in a VR6 as I discovered just now...

    yes, ford have made it look great. but i saw one without the pin stripes. it looked.... boring. hmmm... maybe i've become used to seeing it with the stripes.

    Not a bad drive though - great fun around town for a thrash. Handling and turn in is superior to GTI. Has some nice grunt in 2nd.

    Hmmmmm - they were $23990 or thereabouts on release - would imagine could be had even a little cheaper now given car sales - how did they pay that sort of money?
