    xcarlink and polo

hi there, has anyone tried the xcarlink with the polo? i thinking of the getting the usb/aux in one. also it says on there that it fits into the CD changer port at the back. can anyone confirm that there is one?

the dealer has fitted an OEM Ipod adapter. does this mean that the xcarlink would use that port?

any help would be appreciated thanks.

and also, anyone in adelaide know any audio installers that have worked on the polo?

    forget to add www.xcarlink.com.au

I have one with iPod/aux. Works very well. It does go into cd changer port. Works superbly and can also sellect songs manually. Only down side is that no charging for iPhone 3g at this stage but new adaptor is coming out soon.

I think all the iPod/MP3 players work off the CD-changer port.

Put the ipod/aux one in mine, am very happy with it but hate that it charges ipod whilst car is off, but i guess u won't have this issue

And i didn't do mine myself but apparently the install is really easy and anyone who works with audio installation will find it a breeze, I got charged like $40

Natee, I leave mine connected when parked. I don't think it will drain it severely. Had no problems.
