Written Off 9n3 GTI...what to do?

So, what has brought me to the forum is my little 9n3 GTI was rear ended a couple weeks ago, pushing me into the car in front - outcome is it's been deemed a repairable write off. The most substantial damage being a rear chassis rail needing to be replaced. I've since bought it back but unsure what do with it; part it out or strip it and turn it into a little hill climb/other race car. Suggestions welcome.

List of mods by the previous owner are as follows:
    - Cold air intake
    -Relocated battery and fuse box
    -Stage 2 Apr tune
    -Ceramic break pads
    -Lowered springs
-Piper turbo back exhaust with sports cat, muffler and adjustable baffle
-Aftermarket silicone rubber hoses (replaced most existing rubber)
    -Catch can
    -Diverter valve
    -Front mount intercooler

Talk to Jtop about reregistering it but I doubt it'll be easy. That crease in the rear quarter will need a chassis jig to pull out, then it'll need paint.

I'm keen on that big air cleaner box and whatever has been used to turn the battery around if you decide to wreck it

Painful to fix. Make more money parting it out. UNless you plan to keep it for ever

Yeh, I definitely don't plan on repairing it to have it registered again as I don't think it is worth it

Ironically my black plastic mirror cover arrived today, a red one would have been better

I'd be interested in the intake and DV and hoses. Also in Melbourne, PM your price?

    That's undoubtedly a part out
As Simon said, it's the rear quarter that kills fixing the car up, tie the rear crash bar to a tree and send it, not much to lose on that part really
My luck too, bringing my build to a halt. Had to bring it back to stock, and now letting the repair shop deal with the rest this week. Hopefully savable because I can't buy another White GTI with a sunroof...

If people are after parts, I'd need the n249 and all the hosing around from the intake mani to the dv (including the vacuum reservoir and its mounting bracket). Ignoring the n112 and its tubing. I have like 2/3 of those useless bastards. Eh, whatever is easiest honestly
Spare parts are becoming so difficult to attain... Talk about GTI specific parts and you won't find them anywhere

Everyone wants some bits off it.

Potentially all advice here may be biased as they would prefer a part out!

Yes, I have a parts need.
