I just had mine done on the other car - cost $90 via the local mechanic, so there must be some margin on that. I think they charge by size also.
If your insurance covers it go make the chip bigger and get a whole new screen. Obrien's did mine a few years back genuine around $600

Sorry to say but if you have a "Crack" as opposed to a "Chip" they can't repair a 2cm crack. If you've seen the TV ad it shows the little device that injects the repair gunk into the chip, generally it will only repair a chip maybe the size a 5-10c coin. But you MIGHT be lucky with the repair and as others have said DO NOT wait. Go to them or them come to you and check it out ASAP or else you'll pay $300+ instead of $80. Early on I had mine replaced, didn't have windscreen replacement ticked on my insurance and paid $500+ with obriens

Grrrrrrr..... why is a little bit of glue and sucking out the air that expensive.....
So they can fix a "star" but can't fix a "line"? Let me go grab a hammer and chisel and turn that into a star then...
Damn, better do my research for a local repairer then, it's been a week and it hasn't grown in size though, but yeah I'm aware all it needs is another stone or a really bumpy road to open up the crack...
Thanks fellas!
