Hi,
We all know about our roller coaster dyno results. This has been shown to be due to wastegate opening/shutting etc etc...
I have seen a thread which talks about restricting flow to the N75. Will this device do the trick?
So if this tap is partially closed will the N75 not have the issue of opening the wastegate erratically due to getting air at the wrong times etc..... delay the effect of opening the wastegate..
My question is as follows
1. how much would you restrict the air to the N75? fully, half etc etc
2. Is flow and pressure a different thing? does this contraption make it unsafe?

I think you would probably want a gated boost controller. This blocks the flow of air to the wastegate until a certain psi that you have set. I was thinking of doing this but have decided not to do it. I have one if your interested, pm me.
As to which line you want it on or if it will give you the disired affect I'm not sure as I didn't get that far with my reaserch.
Just change the internal diameter of the line plumbed back to the TIP. A valve seems dodgy as, balls loosen up over time, or seize up depending on their construction.
Get a solid 50mm length of stainless which you can fit your hose to. Then get the centre bored out, so do some calculations work out your desired flow rate % change and have that size hole bored out. A knife and 2 hose clamps later bob's your uncle.
I don't see how a valve that is made to do this is dodgy.
I hope this aint to far off the thread but since I installed the APR R1 diverter valve I have not experienced any surge since it last happened prior to that install. Must say the performance of the R1 is incredible to say the least.
