Hi,
We all know that the 1.8T is used by Audi and VW in so many cars. Just about all of them have the 1.8T badge on it. But why not the Polo Gti? save money? weigh it down?

imho the gti badge is all that is needed to be said
1974 1300 Beetle, 1997 Golf GL, 2003 New Beetle Cabrio, 2014 Audi A4 quattro
The 1.8T badge was an Audi thing. I've not seen a VW with these as stock.
Just like the golf gti.. it doesnt have 2.0T, its just vw thing i guess
cos anyone that doesn't know the cars will probably laugh if they saw a 1.8t badge and think we're full of 5hit.(until we dust em, jokes)
The VW Beetle has a turbo badge on the back of it.. I think the passat has a 1.8T badge on it as well. Other VW cars have their engine size badge on them, 1.6, 2.0tsi, tdi etc etc
Every other golf has its engine designation on it except the GTI.
The skoda has the 1.8T badge as well.
The 1.8T badge might give the little GTi a little more street cred.
