    Whos Polo was it?

    Hi all,

It’s been a very long time since I posted here, glad to see the community still thriving!!

I am in the process/have just bought a new (old 9N3) GTI Polo for myself to get around town in.

I inspected the car today and it seems that someone along the lines (not the current owner) has put a great deal of effort into this little car.

The specs, or so I’ve been told were
    lowered on eibach springs
    Some form of sport exhaust
Ramair induction and turbo smart BoV
    Team dynamic wheels.

I think there were a few other bits I may have missed, however, hoping I can track down the original owner for a run down on the car.

It’s the deep metallic blue with rego 480RKO

    Cheers all

    Tim

Forgotten how to post pics here 🤦*♂️

Not applicable on the phone app through iPhone by the looks.

Will need to fire up the laptop when I get home.

when I first saw this thread a couple of days ago, I'd never seen a 9N Polo in this colour IRL at all.

now today doing a quick Sydney<=>Canberra roundtrip I saw one (a GTI) cruising on the Hume ... and I'm fairly sure it wasn't the one in this thread, so there's at least two getting around

not quite at "when it rains it pours" yet but I'm glad I've now seen one. The blue is really quite lovely

    Thanks for the comment!

When I saw this, I knew it was the colour for me, it’s a stunning combo!

This car of mine is so full of swirls, will need a lot of work but I’ll get it there, they’re a fun car!

Was probably me. I was heading down to Belanglo state forest on the 14th southbound. Hope I was driving responsibly.

Interestingly only the earlier 05' 06' model polo's came in the blue, very few 07 onwards builds in this colour.

Really wanted it when looking for mine but a late 08 build with the leather was a bit more appealing at the time.. Still love it in Red.

So this one is a bit of an add one out being an 08 model?

I’ve been working the paint to get it to show the metallic flake and it’s finally coming through, it’s an amazing colour!
