Who the hell steals an aerial?

So I bought a Sharan aerial from DubAddiction a few weeks ago and I'm walking back to my car when I realise that my aerial has gone.

First I thought it fell off. Like the glue not holding the rubber to the screw or something, but I was wrong -- It was deliberately unscrewed.

Anyway, I've ordered another one. This time, I'm going to Loctite it down. Theiving little bastards.

no i think thats fair enough. it happens way too often to take a chance and leave it on. why should some scumbag get a free one from your car you've paid for, then you have to pay for another one.

sad but it happens way too often here in South Africa too - funny thing is that the retards here steal the normal ones too - in my older car a citi golf they tried to remove the base as well and damaged the roof panel - cost a packet to have that straightened out just for a cheap aerial (more than a 100 times the cost of the actual aerial for the repair by my calculations)

why cant people just be honest - its a sad state of affairs that other people will want your stuff instead of just buying their own - and people who steal are truly sad - i dont blame the Saudi Arabians for cutting off a thieves hands

Let them take it... just take it off when you leave it in dodgy places.
