Yes Gav, maybe THS is getting some or dont care? Good temps of your car in summer, my scangauge is showing AI at 50 plus and low as 35 ish.

Good reason to go THS FMIC. I know FMIC is good thing as my sold WRX showed temps as little as 1 degree above ambient..

FMIC works as a good heatsoak. Anyone do a waterspray kit instal as well?

A bit of thread stealing... I have ordered enough aluminium and silicon pipework for 3 kits. as well as 10 pipes to weld in the MAP sensor mounts. Paid for express shipping. I'll post a final price in my business page after the the stuff has arrived and they are all ready to go.

OFFTOPIC - bartering should work well. Find someone who knows how to do websites and trade em so pipework. It's like free beer, it's worth atleast twice as much as the cost.

Unfortunately I'm not up on that, but my old man is and could at least point you to some sites which make it easy.

Where do I get the THS Intercooler and SEAT brackets?

Buy them from Darkside or THS when purchasing the cooler

Thanks Noone and clicht but THS is out of stock, still.

But THS agent www.awesomegti.com Intercoolers has responded to my emails and I have a price less VAT and a quote for shipping 1 x THS Seat Intercooler and the 2 x brackets also. It is worth asking for a quote less VAT, which is plus 20%!

    THS Seat Intercooler
    Price: £224.00 Without Bracket Kit
    £254.00 With Bracket Kit
    Brand: THS
    Shipping:Calculated at checkout £156.00
    Quantity: 1 Cart Items
Grand Total: £410.00 With Bracket Kit

I just checked out the http://www.darksidedevelopments.co.u...oda-fabia.html , they do offer 1 x Intercooler and the 2 x brackets as well.

Product Description: SeatSport Ibiza Cupra Intercooler for Seat Ibiza / VW Polo & Skoda Fabia
Genuine SeatSport Cupra Front Mounted Intercooler with Alloy End Tanks

Fits ALL Seat Ibiza Mk4, VW Polo 9N3 & Skoda Fabia Mk1 Models

Originally fitted to the Seat Ibiza Cupra TDI, this intercooler is a popular upgrade for the Seat Ibiza, VW Polo and Skoda Fabia models as it is a direct fit (with the bracket kit) and has been used in applications well over 230bhp. The bumper and radiator carrier will need slight modification to fit the intercooler and pipework, but this is not visible once everything is on the car

We also supply the Brackets and fixings for this Intercooler, which are required when retrofitting, if you require these please select from the option above

    (Seat / VW Part Number 6LL 145 804 - 6LL145804 RRP from Seat - £362.02 + 20% VAT)

These are IN STOCK and ready to dispatch.

SeatSport Ibiza Cupra Intercooler for Seat Ibiza / VW Polo & Skoda Fabia
    Price:
    £225.00 Without Bracket Kit
    £235.00 With Bracket Kit
    Brand: Genuine VAG
    Quantity: 1 Cart Items
    Subtotal: £235.00
    Shipping (DHL Air Express): £60.00
Grand Total: £295.00 With Bracket Kit

The DHL Air Express shipping charge of £60.00 is very much cheaper at Darkside Developments. Versus Awesomegti shipping charge of £156.00 (Do not know if it is DHL Air Express). That is a difference of £96.00.

Anyone who has purchased either of these items and has an explanation and reason for the differences please comment and clarify?

I ask could Awesomegti to consider matching Darkside Developments DHL Air Express shipping charge of £60.00?

    Cheers Al
