When the Mrs drives the APR Polo GTI

I had to borrow a car last night so cruised in with the Mrs to the olds house.. I drove their car behind my Mrs driving my APR Polo GTi..

She would turn the corner, change into second gear and then all of a sudden the car would dart off into the wrong lane.. It would come on boost in second gear and she would get a little torque steer..

This happened all the way home..

She was really fanging the car, we were approaching the Freeway, get onto the ramp and see ya later, shes gone... I was in a V6 commodore couldnt keep up.. In her car, she is never over 3000rpm..

What have you noticed about the Mrs when they drive your car...

My girl can't drive for ****. No joke, she is a walking accident. Can't tell you how many times I've had to take her car to the panel beaters.

But when she's driving mine, a strange transformation happens. It turns her into a better more confident driver.

Mine loves first gear. Plants her foot once she's released the clutch and waits for it to hit boost, lets the tyres chirp then backs off, changes and lets the torque in 2nd pull hard.

My GF will never drive my car after inspecting her hub caps(or what's left of them). I've had about 10 sets of rims so far over 3 cars and I've only touched a curb once.

I let my mum drive my car up the shops sometimes. She loves it haha

Yeah i know exactly what you mean, the girlfriend also has a Chipped GTI mk4 same as mine just different colour, wheels, suspension and exhaust. Lol even different chips. But she drives her car normally, but as soon as she's in mine then it foot to the floor baby, Mind you i do not have such an issue with her doing so, Only when she refuse to race people or start honking the horn in my car. But will never use the horn in hers. Women maybe in a few Centuries Man will understand the female species.

Oh i forgot they would have changed the rules by then. lol

On return trips I occassionally let my gf drive with me as the passenger. Cruising on 100kmh, I'd be dozing, she'd drop it back to 4th, floor it and hit 160kmh, ...I'd wake up and say .."slow f****** down will ya!!" ..she just smirks, loves the g-forces in that range
