First ones for sure, look a lot like the AEZs I was thinking about except they are black.

Doh. Those lite-fins are no longer available. Only the lite 9's. Quoted $190 a corner ex fitting/tyres.

so after a decent set of tyres fitted you are looking at about $1,600+..... a bit exy for Speedy wheels i reckon.

Surely there are more people who like the black wheel, red-lip look? Goes with the grille perfectly

    $190 for what size though?

Oh and how lite is "lite"?

I had Speedy Holotype-R in 17's on my old MK III GL. I managed to buckle them a bit, but they rolled out fine. Was entirely my fault though.

I love the red outer but I'm not completely sold on that actual rim... I think it is something that could look tits on the car in real life, or absolutely shyte. If your Polo was black I'd say definitely but being CW I don't know about them.

    Both are good choices though

If you put up a decent photo of your car someone can Photoshop the rims on for you to get a better idea of how they will look.

I had polished Speedy Hyperfangs in 17" on my old excel and they looked good... especially when the 205 tyre is stretching over a 7.5" rim and the ouside of the rim sticks outside the tyre hehe

Looking at the offset (ET45) and they sound like they are tailored to fit a WRX... 17" in a polo I think you are looking more around the ET38 to ET42 offset range... It's amazing what a few mm of offset can do in regards to scrubbing on guards / suspension components.
