Coils,
More fun in the long term with the adjustment and manipulation they can provide.
I have come into some money... from working far too hard... so I want to spend it. No better time than now with the global crisis and all.
If you could do either FMIC or coilovers, which would you choose (adding to tune & downpipe)?
My thoughts so far are...
It's coming into summer and in QLD that means 30+ degree days - FMIC
My car goes fast enough for me to have lost my license - coilovers
This is still not enough power! - FMIC
The stock suspension limits how much fun I can have with the power - coilovers
Basically my thoughts have gone back and forwards... so to you guys it is!
Cheers for your opinions...

Quick question, is this an APR front mount your considering on getting, or are you sourcing it elsewhere? ... cos if its an APR, you can get some pretty hefty coils for the moolah!

Well the coils will be either KW V2/V3 or Bilstein PSS/PSS9s.
So...

Depends what you want in the long run...
I go for coilovers. You have more fun on the twisty then an extra kw you gain from the intercooler...that mostly won't use on the public road...![]()
You'll gain more power with a FMIC but your stock suspension will be even more inadequate. With 131kw atw, you've got plenty of grunt already Sam, but the rest of your car hasn't caught up with the additonal power. Coilovers will give the car better proportion and balance as well as make it safer.

Hmmm ever so tough.
I think FMIC so you can go that lil bit faster.![]()
My votes for coilovers cos you're never going to feel like there is enough power, but if you can get around those corners better you'll be going faster anyway
