On the street at legal speeds the coilovers are of little use ........ whereas the FMIC will give you extra power to use in merge lanes ...

If you go to the track often (ie every 2nd week) put the coilovers on 1st.

Yeah you should, it's in aid of a good cause. The annual Flap's GT28RS turbo fundraising appeal. If Flaps hits 220 atw, then all donations are tax deductable

I thought the answer was simple! You've got plenty of power, a great chassis, but still have stock suspension...

The big gripe I have with my car at the moment is the rolly polly handlng..

The Power from APR and Downpipe really expose the coils as being too floppy..

There is a set of serious bends near my place where my APR Polo gets all disjointed...

The Mrs Peugeot GTI 206 (stock) would kill the Polo Gti through those twistys, not for power but because you can absolutely go flat through them and the Peugeot sits absolutely flat through them.. ITs the much better drive through the twistys..

    Coils for the win..

i agree, my previous car was a Peugeot 206 GTi and the handling on that was amazing, like a go kart.... much better than the Polo GTI. also the Peugeot is a LOT lighter which helps for handling.

sam, you have sufficient power for the time being, help get that power to the ground and be more useful for cornering. definitely go the coilies.

Mate I'd go the coils hands down. Like everyone else says, you've got stock suspension with an already tuned motor. Why bother tuning more when you could get more bang for your buck by upgrading a currently stock setup on your car?

no good having lots of power if you can't handle it.

get coils and hit the track (if having fun is what you like doing..)

    Coils it is.

Getting Bilstein PSS fitted for about $2800. Can't justify the extra $1k to have the ability to adjust something that I'll probably never adjust.
