Never noticed the vents for the rear! Will have to check it out when i'm home next. I guess they thought it might get stuffy back there on longer drives with a full back seat, & to prevent the front seat passengers copping a breeze in the face by opening the front windows, they could instead turn on the airflow & let the vents do the work?

Yes - the vents in the rear.

This is where I think the problem lies. When I have the Air Con on blowing at feet, the kids get cold air at their feet in the back - all good. When I then turn it to face they complain of getting hot air through the rear floor vent , which I assume is the outside air. So I'm not convinced that setting the vent knob between face and feet will provide air con to the rear. I guess this is not a problem for most of you, but it comes back to wanting a proper combined face and feet option.

Much quicker steering. That's what I'd change.
