What would be the first thing you would do to a 2001 Polo?

What would be the first thing you would do to a 2001 Polo straight after you pick it up from the dealer?

Sell it, and get a GTI!!!

Seriously...Maybe look at lowering it, darkest legal window tint, and maybe a set of nice 16in or 17in mags for it. I like the look of them, and have often wondered how hard it would be to drop a 20v Turbo in one. By the way, what colour is it?

Yeah, that's my favourite model polo too. I think that unless you do a conversion or serious engine work, it'll never be a rocket. I would focus on handling modifications, maybe some slightly bigger wheels with stickier tyres, sways and maybe even coilovers if you have enough money for them.

Can you post pictures up please mate?

Problem with your lunch is as follows. Doesnt matter what you do performance wise they will get SFA power increase.

I would do suspension, wheels and car audio.

Make it a nice cruiser, it will never be a quarter mile stormer.

    Congrats on the purchase.
