    What oil should i use?

    What oil should i use for my 75k service.

    MOBIL says 0-40

    Are they right? I was thinking more 10-40...

    as per manual suggests mobil 1 synthetic 0w40sae is recomended

    yeah but you cant run 0-40 forever.

    i agree with you there but it is a turbo charged vehicle and requires thinner oil i would use what they recomend til 90k at least thats when the major service is tbelt tensioner plugs coolant oilfilter pollenfilter brakefluid airfilter and gearoil upon request at your own cost

    10W 40 magnatec for the Pog mate no dramas there - i believe they now do a 5W40 which will be a great oil mate one of the 2 - thats my opinion.
    I may be biased when it comes to Castrol though. Lots of good oils out there having said that i wouldnt use o weight though.

    I prefer mobil1 because castrol isnt fully sythentic.

    Mobil are the only actuall fully sythentic oils.

    I was asking for rating of oil to use for my 75k thousand service...

    I stated that 0-40 seemed very light. And that i thought maybe a 10-40 would be more suitable.

    I may know alot about oils. But that doesnt make me know what oil to use in my car.
