Thinking of downsizing to a motorcycle at the moment. What do you think the polo is worth on the market now?

alpine type x speakers + alpine x001 ipod unit + rockford fosgate p450.4 amp
2 year extended warranty left.

i suppose most will not add much value to the car, but rather, have some value as an individual items.

what you guys think?

You'd most likely get 18-20k for it, I'd be taking the mods out, selling them separately and going for 18.5k, you'd then get a much easier sale.

The ones advertised privately on a few different sites seem to range from 18-23k.

Agree with Houso, if I was looking at a car, I'd be unlikely to pay much for any mods, whereas you might get a grand or two for those bits sold separately. And there's probably a few people on here who'd be happy to take the performance bits off your hands.

18 sounds reasonable for stock, then its a question of what is the rest worth to the buyer / to others.

Personally, I'd be selling it as stock as possible and throwing some of the aftermarket parts on here for sale. Likely make a few extra bucks that way...

Probably leave the springs / shocks on as they are going to cost $$$ to have removed...

I suppose if its in good condition and you sold it as stock with the Koni kit, close to 20k?
