I get the whole Golf/Polo thing all the time too
My work mate says it all the time.
Maybe i should start calling his skyline a pulsar? and his front mount a bar fridge...

Just call it a whale, coz they're heavy and slow...
Im constantly surprised by the pace APR has given the Polo.
Not much can keep up with it !!!
I only let myself drive it once a week or so. The other night i gave it a bubble bath, a gold class wax. Today in anticipation i waxed it AGAIN.
Picking up the new (hopefully) girlie tonight
Get those heated seats working FTS (for the score)
Let's be fair here - the vast majority of GTIs on the road are Golfs. Golf V GTIs outnumber 9N3 GTIs by at least 10 to 1, from the examples I see on the road.
On the rear hatch - there's a VW logo, and "GTI". Nowhere on either the Golf or the Polo are the words 'Polo' or 'Golf' displayed. Especially now that there's a 3 door Golf V GTI out, can you really blame a non-enthusiast who likes his or her cars for not picking their Polos from their Golfs?
I can bet that the same confusion also pervades the XR4 Fiesta and the XR5 Focus. And at a short glance, I'll be damned if I can tell an STi from a normal WRX...
Another way to pick an STI is to watch the car jiggle on it's suspension when it runs over anything thicker than an 80gsm sheet of paper.
^^^ sounds like my lowered GTI
P.S the date went very very well last night.

had dinner together, and shared a milkshake hehehe
Saturday night i have another date with her woooooo
What I don't love:
1) Tiny, inaccurate speedo. The from as low as 80kph it gets even worse with the 2x scaling.
2) Indicator stalk on the wrong side. Bloody Euro conversion gone wrong. I'm often missing indicating because of this, when needing to swap gears at the same time. The only right side for the indicator stalk is the one not occupied by your gear changing hand.
