    Hi Inky,

DaveMack & Grant are right. The 1.8T is a really good base and the work made with this Polo is a pleasure at each day !!
This engine is a guarantee of quality since it has equipped many cars by the past...

From my point of view, when you drive this car, it's not easy to drive an other in the same category...The engine sound miss me when it happens that i let her in the garage !

Smile The complete package 06 gti

I love the torque it has makes it really easy to drive you dont have to rev the ??? out of it like other small cars The size easy to park do u turns having not to put mag wheels body kit muffler ect due to it having full options standard once a year services, safety equipment, being faster than most family size cars and being
more fuel efficient ,how solid the doors shut the fact no one around my area has one i love having a sleeper car.I don,t need to mod it up to make it go or handle.
The fact i did not have to put a sports muffler on it to here it .No mods and still happy 2 years on.

Soo much to love!! Mine has been chipped and has an Exhaust, so the performance is just amazing... The comforts the Polo has are just icing on the cake:

    - Heated seats with draws under them (Leather Pack)
    - It looks after me: Anyone else notice that it automatically wipes the rear window when you have the wipers on and put the car into reverse?!?!
    - Sooo easy to park
    - Blue display

    loves:

    - the whistling turbo
    - subtle and tasteful design enhancements
    - the throaty VROOM! when you turn the key
    - red brake calipers
    - red stitching on the leather seats and seat belts
    - those beautiful denver wheels
    - interior design - looks expensive and still better than most new car interiors
    - how the doors close with a solid 'thud'. feels like you're enclosed in a tank
    - how rare the Polo GTI is
    - those three magic letters: GTI

This is probably gonna sound dumb, considering I'm a new Polo GTI owner (right on 4 days now) but I think it's brilliant how whenever you put it into reverse, it automatically switches recirculation mode on to stop any exhaust fumes coming in. Silly I know, but it makes me feel as though my little Polo is going that extra step to look after me.

I love it! I was so happy to be getting one but I can't believe how much happier I am now that I finally have one. Way too much fun!

Having had two GTi's before, VW's have always been my first choice vehicle. When I got my new job, which entails 110km per day, a diesel was the logical choice, but I didn't want to get a standard Polo, and VWSA discontinued the two-door Polo Sportline, so I placed an order for a Cross Polo, and waited, and waited and waited. Seven months later the car arrived and I can honestly say that it was worth the wait. Despite never driving a diesel before and down scaling from a 132kW GTi, the little Cross really impressed me with it driveability and some of the features, like under seat drawers, funky cloth interior, of the Cross Polo and the general solid build and handling characteristics. After just about a month with the car it just impresses me.

I love the attention to detail. Every little thing has been done to perfection. Also love the novelty things like the VW logo in front of the headlights.

The more I drive it the happier I am
