i've had my car for 4 months and been through about 8-10 tanks of wiper water, and this stuff lasts/ works quite well in my book.
nah wasnt being specific il try that thanks!

am i just meant to put in the "polyglaze invisible glass" or mix it with water?

Do our cars have heated mirrors?

WHAT I LUV ABOUT MY Polo GTI

hmmm well where do i begin as i did upgrage from a 01 VX commodore!!!

*i love the way it handles i do give it a bit of stick from time to time and it is such a lil pocket rocket

*you can feel that it has been well made for the price you pay and if you compare it to something like a swift sport German Engineering is something like no other

i just love the detailing with the GTI model as it makes you stand out i could go on and on so i will just say i love EVERYTHING anout my POLO!!!

    best car ever!!!!

    hey shhplit man...

yeah- next time you run out of wiper water, just pour a sixth of a bottle of the polyglaze down the water pipe, then top up with water, diluting the mix....

then, its clean, clear shiny windscreen (where the blades rub, lol) anytime you want- splattered bugs come off nicely, too, with just a flick of the wiper stick.

its pretty good. i had the stuff in my vr6... and my hand-me-down discovery... works great. and easily accessible..

hummel- on the middle setting (little dot) on your mirror thing, pull it gently towards you for like ten seconds- heats up enough to almost evaporate water off the mirrors. i'd know- snow and water etc on your side mirrors are absolute wh0res....

an welcome welcome welcome, miss gti.... no offence, as i've had a coupla cab sav's but for some reason a girl driving around in a land whale aka falcobogundore, is no where near as attractive as a girl driving around in a vw- any vw. especially not a hot hatch like the pog gti.

but just because all girls look hot in gti polos, doesnt mean youre allowed to stop wearing high heels and skimpy-yet-classy/elegant dresses, 'kay?

but in all seriousness- they're a great little car. i'm absolutely in love with my tdi. if i won lotto (after buying into toorak, breckenridge, sapporo, and somewhere either in the dolomite or in bavaria) i would complete my mods, and just putter around the VIC countryside, which i havent really explored. oh, and if i had the money- i'd love to play a practical joke on the VW service boys- they loan me a car whilst my baby is in for service, and in the 8 hrs i have it, get it chipped, run a few couple hundred clicks to let the engine learn, then return it, haha.

    "tell 'him he's DREAMIN...."

Have to agree totally. Always used to think I would die before I bought a diesel. Shopping for a small manoeuverable car for the wife last week. Not keen on the Polo grey/orange/green interior. Discovered Polo 09 Pacific TDI - black/grey interior with seats just like Golf Edition + leather steering wheel + 15in alloys + ours has ESP/side airbags.

Has nearly all the same gadgets as the Audi A3 1.8TFSI rental we have had a few times. Had the wheels off fitting mudflaps - surprised to find brake discs with VW/Audi markings. Gotta love technology trickle down.

Diesel torque is sooooo much fun to drive round town - not many cars that can keep up. Contemplating chipping if I can be totally convinced the turbo will survive (96kW/310NM overseas VW models have had some turbo failure problems), but 74kW/240NM TDI is pretty fast as it is round town.

(Wife happens to love the diesel noise. I don't but can only really hear it at idle. Hanging out for some BP Ultimate Diesel to see how much noise it gets rid of.)

I used to love my 97' Peugeot 306 turbo diesel, torque is the big winner around town, and up hills

Are they actually bringing this out??? I always thought diesel was pretty much just that... diesel.

It's just the crud they get from the bottom of the tank, yet it's more expensive than Premium ULP sometimes!!!
