    minor service (7,5k km interval) plus changed gearbox oil. 60k km is the next one. Might start saving now

    Snapped one of the 13mm bolts that goes into the crash bar whilst replacing the Forge FMIC with the original SMIC (yeah I know, not many people would do that) - does anyone know an ideal torque setting for these bolts, they seemed quite lose when I was undoing them originally.

    They look like torque to yield bolts but never seen one snapped off. As they only stop the bar falling on the road. They wouldn't need to be killer tight. 25lbs or something. I really don't think it needs a torque wrench.

    Were you using a 2 foot bar on them?

    I don't reckon I have ever seen more than a couple of bolts sheared off doing them up. Usually happens to me removing, due to corrosion. Although a mate and not a very tall one, back in the UK snapped a wheel bolt off on his Passat estate after we did his front brakes. I suspect the bolt was fatigued though.

    under the car again, this time for the front arb bushes.
    superpro bushes in, the whiteline bushes that were in look pretty good but were softening. Car is more responsive thrown into a corner and bounces around less on poor surfaces.

    Nearly mate. Continual issues raising their head. Have to move the battery to the boot.
    Poor Seb. This thing just keeps growing. Hoping for the end of this week. (I've said that before).
    The intercooler isn't that big. It's 600x200. I would have bought the 500x200 but had to wait an extra week.
    This one just fits in front of the radiator.

    I like the IC location, is it welded to the crash-bar?
    That hard piping looks dominant, going to be a CAI? will you use the original or foglight feed?
