    what did i do on my polo today..... ummmm made a reader ride thread for my new number 2 :-

    sssstew's 2nd Polo 9n GTI

    so pleased to be back
    2016 MY17 Polo GTI with DA package. TMD fitted + Weather strip and Snow Screen removed otherwise dead standard.

    found another useful site with quite a lot of DIY instructions on our POLOs, not much on power mods though
    but it gets handy if you like to muck around with your polo

    will start @ 36 psi and go from there. waiting for them to cool to see what bjtm put in them.

    No contest Lee. The 17's were OK but as soon ask you asked for some performance they gave up

    What did you do to your Polo today?

    I find the 31's grip best with closer to 40 on the front, rears can be much lower. Nothing wrong with 36 for most driving

    Thanks. After a country run yesterday I agree. will up the fronts to 38 to see how it goes.

    FWIW BJTM had the tyres between 37 and 41, all were different...

    Yeah, fitters do some odd things. I've heard of them inflating to 45psi all round, and some that were over 10psi off.

    I check mine pretty frequently.
