Anyone know what APR claim for their K04 on a Polo

Even tho I pulled 153.7 I know it is a 160kw atw + car. Most of the cars had around 8-10kw+ more on the 3rd run and i only had 1 run without pushing it

I still have the standard turbo manifold on too and havent done any logging to see whats going on.
Wait till I get a proper one like the JBS

How many polos are putting out 160KW atw

We should start a polo dyno thread, interested to see the power curve compared to a K03

Oops, sorry Troy I meant to quote you not edit.

For those that didn't see his post, he said he was a "very happy boy" or words to that effect!

    Sorry again.

Went over to Harding Performance so Guy could dial in the ratio etc on the new Dynapack for Pogwars. Pretty happy with the results.. Intake temps were a bit high to start with but got them down to around 40c after the first run - Guy's new fan is impressive. Should drop a bit further once my enclosed CAI turns up - just had the open pod today so would have been copping a fair bit of heat. Will try to get a custom DP done before the dyno day so I can see how that helps. Anyway.. APR vs "stock".

Nah.. Forge cooler and pipes and DV, n75 race, CAI, sai etc delete.. That figure was also at the hubs so maybe only 130 when you account for wheel weight. The "stock" figure is running the stock map but still with all mods. Pretty happy though. Going to get a quote for a TBE this week and go from there.

You'd may find the stock diverter gives more kw. The race valve seems to peak boost earlier, less for the top end.

Or if you are keen, you can look at timing logs, maybe add timing Lemmiwinks style.

Like you, Ben, I'm probably happier with better mid range torque than a couple extra kw at the top.. Looking at the logging, boost is peaking at about 19.5psi around 3500rpm, which is pretty nice for drivability. I have the Clio for driving around at 6000+ rpm.

Ignition timing is something I'm interested in after reading of your successes with lemmiwinks, but I need to do some more reading before I start playing. I also need a windows laptop.. Hah.
