I did have a spare when the wheels arrived - I'll have to try to find it when I get home. I'll send you a PM if it turns up.

    this was last night...

coming off alexandra pd onto the eastern (big S-bend, i like to hit it pretty hard), heard lots of grumbling from two cars coming off hoddle street, around the two big corners, onto the eastern, outbound.

turns out that i had stumbled upon a fight that was taking place between a bmw x6m and a c63 amg...

the two of them, obviously thinking that they're invincible, took their fight into the right hand lanes, right in front of me.

corner speed. momentum. pass. both drivers looking a bit sh7tted off when they see that it's a nondescript polo on small wheels with no exhaust note. you can fill in the gaps.

everyone in this section already knows this, but god, these little polos are capable when they want to be.

Wheel alignment yesterday, Pirelli's fitted today. For a tyre with a treadwear of 400, they're pretty grippy! Nice and quiet, too, which I'm thankful for. Seem to have a bit more 'bag' than the Bridgestone of the same size.

    Guards now rub a little

Which Pirellis did you get and what Bridgestones did they replace?
Maybe answer in the tyre thread.

    good minds....

do you really think one can compromise when comparing utqg 400 vs. yoko/ bridgestone 180 treadwear tyres?

im such a loser... i should have run two sets of tyres from the get go...

Don't beat yourself up , dude. Blame the a$$hole who stole your original wheels and tyres when you got the alloys.
