Better for you than Scotch with Prozac for sure!
What's your thoughts on enlargening it?? Or don't know the difference with/without? I was happy with the before and after change with the PD160. Not sure if removing that lip would add much, would be hesitant to modify given that it would change the pressure/vacuum conditions of the air box.

I think its just a restriction. I don't know how detailed the science of the airbox would get after ensuring sufficient flow, cold air, low restriction and low turbulence.
The flap is likely there to deflect stones and junk. Anything getting into the intake pipe would need to get through the air filter, then the MAF screens before doing any damage, so I think from that angle, you're safe.
installed HEL brake lines today. specific kit for polo mk4 1.8t. everything fits except i had to use the stock banjo bolts as the ones supplied by HEL won't fit (different thread pitch). the rear ones are direct swap but the working space under the fuel tank is quite small, especially on the right side.
shorter than stock but it will fit, no worries.
banjo fitting with stock banjo bolt.
the other end. no problems here except the hole on the mounting had to be enlarged to cater HEL's larger fitting.
another shot.

Nice looking lines! Any difference in pedal feel mate?
Nice, I have had a set sitting here for ages and haven't put them in
Do you have a pic of the back ones on the car, my car looks like the fitting is crimped onto a hard line.
