Nice shoes! No scrubbing for me with 215/40's on exactly the same rim specs as you. Interesting to see someone have a go with
225/35's!
Sure did. They were pretty beat up, i've spent at least 40 hours on them.

man those wheels are frigging nice!
if only they came in 15 inch..... they'd be light as fork!
go the wider rubber. grip > stance IMO (says he who loves all the stretched dubs that rock up to DOVW etc)
bought a <$10 box to make the second part of my heatshield. Had to do a lot of cutting, tight space to work with and didn't want to remove the battery.
I had to remove the battery... Again...
Still, Its all good practice for the next version after the battery relocation. I'm pretty happy with this material / box. I'll post some info / pics in the intake thread when my hands hurt less...
time I have.
The cutdown part went in, pain in the ass to work with, thick plastic stuff, but wont warp and is a good temp solution.

it was a tight fit, but has a nice edge to the battery cover and is open underneath. With the other shielding section the difference is huge and flow shouldn't be restricted at all.
Feeling a little ghetto until I know what the next step is, then I can get nice bits to do it properly.

That looks pretty cool. Cut a hole for the stock intake hose for some extra cold air?
