Nice... Whiteline seem to have a history of sending the wrong bits, or missing bits in the kit...
What I didn't do to my Polo today was install my rear sway bar
It arrived on Friday, so I was keen to get it in this weekend, but upon checking the package this morning, realised Whiteline had sent me a BWR23Z, which is the bar for the 6R model. FML.

FINALLY! I got my Polo back from the smash repairers on Friday arvo, after a total of just under 9 weeks off the road.
Saturday I rotated my tyres -- Conti Sportcontact 2's on the front, Michelin Pilot Precedas on the back -- and got a wheel alignment. Today was installing a set of 42DD shifter cable bushings. Got to tweak the adjustment because first gear is a bit notchy at the moment...
Very glad to have the car back and happy with the effect the 42DD's have. Next stop Whiteline RSB, and four new tyres --probably Federal 595 RS-Rs.
Edit:
The car up on two feet today:

The Federal 595 RS-R's are a great tyre in the wet and dry...
I feel your pain man... I have been unable to drive my car for 4 weeks now... Combination of a shoulder reconstruction and the car being in for repairs after hitting a Roo... The car itself took just under a week to repair, but the panel beaters have been waiting 2 weeks for 2 PARTS!!... Hopefully should be in the road this week...

Had a crazy ass warning light go nuts at me while moving the car around the carpark at work...
It was the Brake System Failure light - ( ! ) looking thing - and was on solid with constant chiming as well until I turned off the car. I was just backing out of a spot when it happened, and drove maybe 100m at no more than 5-10km/h then parked again. Warning light did not come on when I restarted the car.
This same warning light came on a few weeks back when my traction control kicked in going round a corner, but a quick shut down start up cleared it so didn't think anything of it until now.
Anyone got an idea what it means? Brakes still seem to pump ok. I just had all 4 discs changed along with new calipers at the front, although I'm confident thats not the cause of the problem given it occurred once before the change as well
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting
Scan it. If there is a problem with your master cyl, you want to know...
Looks like a trip to Barloworld five dock at low speeds is in order then.
No doubt I'll be quoted on replacing all 4 discs, calipers, all brake lines, master cylinder, brake pedal and tyres as their solution

Mate, when I had that light go on it was my front rotors that needed replacing. but from your thread you've done all that...
Yeah thats what I am thinking. Rotors were pretty skinny when changed, so that could have set it off before.
We'll see anyway, car parked at work for now and will get it looked at during the week
