What did you do to your Polo today?

I believe it's just the pedal covers (rubber bits with decorative metal inserts) that are changed. They just slip on/off.

Thats what I came to the conclusion of last night after unwrapping them and a lot of googling. I guess I'll know in a few days wether it was a smart idea or not...

I'm particularly impressed by the very low idle speed.
I strongly suspect that's the reason the check engine light is on. (Low oil pressure/voltage.)

What are the TT pedals ? How are they different to the alloy Polo GTI ones that are standard ?

nah - I played with trip meter to remind myself how to reset it.
The 3.9 was the average consumption (l/100km) so far on that trip, though.

The car is less than a year on road, guys!
