$260 fitted (well.. not properly lol )

Plus you are supporting Australian Made performance gear which made me feel a bit warm and fuzzy!!

Just have to wait to get the KW coilovers delivered now and and my modifying will be over for a bit.. Until I decide to get an intercooler to stop the car from pinging it's head off on these hot QLD summer days :S

Yeah, I have been looking on eBay, and a place in Melbourne does them for $230, and looking on Amazon I can get it for $180.
It's funny, my Forge 007 DV is louder than the Forge Dual Port DV that I had on it...
Is this the part number for the one you fitted??

Yep thats the right part number... But the picture is of the old model, the one I've got is the newer slightly less bulky design as below. Make sure you install it with the top of the valve (bit with vacuum nipple) facing towards the LHS guard, the trumpet should be obscured by the engine cover:

and confirmed that you will need a longer length of vacuum hose (about 1" longer) as mine has fallen off twice this afternoon.. I'll grab some from Autobarn tomorrow

Where can u get this valve for 230 in Melbourne? As long as there are no engine lights or error codes come up when car is hooked ip through VAG-COM. Im interested. I still got my FORGE Dual Port DV but my car never liked it and always went into limp mode.

    That is cheap...

As I said I have it on the hardest setting so most of the air goes back into the intake, and no engine lights have come on the dash yet... If anyone has VAG-COM in brisbane and wants to scan it I'll drop by, but I'll get Jimmy to have a look at it in a couple of weeks

Some install photos.. Not the best as taken on camera phone:

I have noted that there is a very slight backfire on 3-4 gear change at part throttle, but nothing too drastic.. Still no check engine lights and I gave it a real flogging around Mt Nebo this morning

Spec83 - I purchased that same Turbosmart compact and thought all was good, no check engine light but it will log a diverter valve error using a vaglink, I didn't realise until the guys at CVWC checked out my APR tune, just something to keep an eye on, but apart from that you get a hiss setting it up that way and a flutter setting it up the other way, so just wondering which was is the appropriate installation???

APR tune seems to go into limp with most of the Diverter valves I have used
Seems the tune is not very agressive, if you try to squease out a few more PSI it will just go to limp
