Its not really. Running std then chekc the integrity of your exhaust at the joints, if any oxygen is sucked into the exhaust this can trigger the sensor or lastly the sensor itself has gone out to lunch

    Running the GIAC tune.

light hasn't come back since the reset yet, although I've still got it scheduled for next thursday just in case.

I actually just had the O2 sensor replaced a couple weeks ago so I thought perhaps they'd stuffed something.

If it comes back over the weekend I'll get em to check out your suggestions, thanks!

Ordered a set of JL Audio splits, 4ch amp and 12" sub for my pog to compliment the Pioneer headunit. Finally some decent sound while cruising.

Exhaust light came back on... so car's going in for service tomorrow morning.

Hopefully the exhaust is cracked and I need a new one, then its just a few quick quotes to show work that aftermarket is cheaper than stock and we're done

put on my Sharan stubby antenna thanks to DubAddiction, much better than that stupidly long original one.

Washed it at the weekend, stayed clean and shiney for all of 2 days, dirty again after one drive home. sigh

I recently bought one of the stubby antennas. Definitly a major improvement over the old long one. Mine was pretty damaged aswell but I just love looking at my car parked next to a mkv gt and noticing the difference =P also bought a seat intake. Thanks tim!

Drove it from Moorabbin to Port Melbourne via Beach Rd, averaging 3.8L/100km, indicated (light traffic, 60km/h limit).

Being a TDi, it's not as impressive as it might seem.

It's actually quite interesting to try and maximise economy, though, as you have to concentrate on traffic flow and upcoming light changes to minimise stops and acceleration periods while not acting as a roadblock. Jeremy Clarkson commented once that driving for maximum economy was far more difficult than trying to drive fast (in a sane manner) on public roads and I would agree (racetrack / closed road is another thing altogether).

It certainly is more entertaining than being frustrated by cars slowing you down when you are trying to drive at the speed limit the whole time. And I kept catching the same cars that were zipping in and out of lanes whenever I approached traffic lights.

Hahaha the ammount of times ive tried doing this, so much effort involved in keeping it on a down rev.. end up giving it stick.
