My Cupra lip rocked up today... Now I have something to do on the weekend!! Thanks Tim. Exactly 24hrs from pickup to drop off at my place.
Just have to wait for my new wheels to rock up.

Fitted a new clutch and lighten flywheel to teh race pog because there was a bit of free time at work =)
Clutch pedal is lighter than what it used to be and it engages a bit quicker too. will need to put more Km on it though..
Now to fit the front coilovers...

So we had a beer and decided to fit the Cupra lip. Alot easier than we thought, and very happy that it is as flexible as it is.
All I need now is a set of coilovers...

I took out the back seats.........

Very smart way VW have set these seats up for quick variation and removal. Quick release cams etc and the one bolt for the lap sash and hey presto the Pog is 25 kilos lighter.

Did you take the bumper off for this?

I really have to stop being lazy and fit this thing, it's been sitting in my garage for 6 months!

Yeah man, we took the bumper off. We trimmed the tabs down flat in the center, and starting from the center to the outsides, we screwed it on, then trimmed up the overhangs at the ends. It took about 2hrs to do.
