Yeah same here, and how do you get a intake to the front of the car, where is it drawing air from
Pics ??
Hey guys, the BMC CDA used is the new much more compact OTA (oval type box) with part number being: OTA70
Check out this link: OTA Project
Because its much more compact than the older design, it fit in snugly where the SEAT PD160 intake pipes would usually sit hence negating the need to replace the battery with a smaller one. However, the battery would need to be shifted slightly to the right. I'll post pic when I get home later this morning (on night shift right now). Air feed is relatively direct and comes from the same location/spot of the intake trumpet opening.
MY2008 VW Polo GTi / GIAC Tune / Forge FMIC / Forge 007 DV / N75 Race / BMC OTA / KW V1 Coilovers / Whiteline Front&Rear Swaybars + Toe-In Shim / Weichers Front&Rear Strut Braces / Full Non-Res Milltek Exhaust / 17" Bora Sport
Yeah definitely more induction noise and more torquey all round.
Very cool Dave, looking forward to seeing what your setup looks like (and maybe copying)...
Hey guys I've uploaded the links to the BMC OTA setup.

Nice work mate. Are these BMC units still around $500?
this photo seems to show a bit of room - maybe for a catchcan for those that are going that way and looking for a place to put it
