I'm not sure if noone was saying it is sacrilege that you're going to sell your Polo for a WRX, or for the fact that you were referring to the WRX as a "proper sports car", lol
Don't get me wrong, the Polo was exactly what I wanted. A small, comfortable but somewhat fun hatch to get to work in. And it's done that better than anything else in its market segment.
But balls to the wall performance car it isn't, and I still have such a soft spot for WRX's after my old WRP10.... I'm keen to get back into something with the classic boxer burble.
Previous Rides: Polo GTI, Mx5 10AE, MY05 WRX WRP10, Renault Sport Clio 172
Current Ride: Evo 8 MR, Fabia MK3

hehe.... I'll give you "performance car", but I don't know... I just can't see a $20k sedan/hatchback with AWD and a turbo as a "sports car".
Don't get me wrong... I wouldn't call the Golf R I've got on order a sports car either. Nor a HSV Clubsport, which has ALL the power going to the *right* wheels
why won't you use it?
just test it out and if you don't think it's good, put other fluid in it...?
or do you have other problems with DOT 5.1 :-s
i have another kind of brake fluid also.
a friend who does circuit races with a 106 S16 GTI uses high performance brake fluid that is used in Bikeraces.
verry good stuff.
but i have to look into that one also, don't know what it's called either.
Dropped off my wheel centres for a new smack of colour
Cheap, Fast, Reliable. Choose two.
Put on some QFM A1RM pads on the front from Greg and GSL.
The last pads were cooked from the track day, but the new pads feel much better before they've been broken in.
I'm surprised how much difference the pads can make to the brake feel.
H&R Sport Cup Kit and Milltek catback on their way...gotta love a big tax refund
How much was the cat-back? There is one for sale in WA on ebay...
yeah i bought that one...picked it up for 600+ shipping to melb ~60 bucks
