Warranty is a funny thing. I don't see how a rear sway is going to cause problems if you have an engine issue, but if you have any suspension issues, they will try and blame anything else...
hmmmm, yea, i;ll just get rear sways.
getting that installed wont void waranty would it? i wouldnt risk installing it before my inspection next tho. never know what these VW people might blame that voids waranty =__=.
the springs are soft, but the car is already on those 16" low profiles which cause some road noise on uneven or non smooth roads.
coilovers are the way to go i recon. i wouldnt mind a small lowering so the car looks nicer =) but that would cost like 2k which i dont want to do.

rear sway bar is a very easy install. from what i have heard the strut brace is a good investment as well.
I will be looking to getting a set of suspension do-hickies as soon as the cash start rolling in.
1. strut brace
2. front sway bar?
3. coilovers
4. 17" wheels
May not be in that order though

Fitted slotted rotors, Ferodo DS2500 pads and Motul RBF600 fluid in preperation for a Super Sprint at Mallala tomorrow.
Also removed the cenre caps off my wheels, before they fall off...
Cheap, Fast, Reliable. Choose two.
So recently had remsa pads put on - WAY better than standard. Saved me from an expensive little nose to tail the other day. Standard pads and I'd have been a bit unhappy. Seat Intake? Expensive bit of $1.50 worth of raw materials but worth the purchase price of $200. Boosts quicker and revs to 6600 no worries whereas standard seems to get a bit asthmatic around 5500. If revving is your thing. Front Seat control arm bushes? HIGHLY recommended. Very noticeable sharper front end at all levels. Front strut brace also noticeably effective in better turn in and steering feel. Would love Bilsteins, 312s and a chip next.......
Few nice upgrades there Peter.
No need to rev the car beyond about 5k, but the Seat intake does help the girl breathe. Bushes and strut brace certainly help.
The Polo was loving the cold air last night, coming home from a nice meal out had second gear pulling cleanly past 100kmph (onto a freeway of course).

Got the Pedders/Whiteline control arm bushes installed
Made a huge difference, even having KW coilovers in, car felt sloppy untill these went in
They are quite hard but stiffen up the front end quite a bit
Got the car a major service over the weekend...
Timing belt done as well as the radiator changed, and while I was at it got all the brakes pads swapped. All parts supplied by Jmac, who I must say is an absolute champion to deal with as there were some large speed bumps involved with the parts and he was a great help with it all.
Got the service done by Stephen in Abbotsford off of recommendations by forum members and he was also top notch
Next on the list is some new tyres (and potentially new rims), APR dogbone and some asthetic changes (painting the bonnet, badges etc)
Do you have the MK4 Polo GTI?
If so, was this the "120,000km service" (since the timing belt was changed) ?
Was just wondering how much it cost you all up. Cause I've seen some pretty scary quotes from VW dealers (up to $1700) for the timing belt service.
