Fixed my leaking sump again today... got to love previous owners who managed to damage the thread
One more reason for me to get the dump pipe and intercooler done, and to move to a cooler climate...Hopefully will be in Canberra this time next year...

I Didn't really do this today, but when I first brought it home,The boot didn't close without a firm push with my knee,so i thought I would adjust the catch. So with a light push, with your hand(as the manaul says)it would close.First off I cracked the plastic, not having the proper tool to remove it with, but perservered on to the carch only to discover - again - I don't have the proper tool.So then I spent the next couple hours welding the plastic back so if I got the courage to bring it in for warrenty to adjust, they would't discover my folly(also my wife looked over my shoulder just as I was cracking the plastic).Upshot the boot still needs a knee or a BIG slam to close it.I pulled a big NO-NO by test driving a new Polo, then buying a second hand one still under warenty and appearing at the dealer again.
Nice result mate. I managed to pull 135kw, shame to not be at the top of the pack, but I'm not complaining.
I wish I'd stayed a little longer to see the other Polo's, but had to fly... Was a long day of waiting...
Hm, my torque is 30 nm less, I've been discussing how I think my tune is dying off over time, but have not been able to show this... new tune is definitely on the cards...

To jellyhouse. Did you see the 2 Phillips head screws on the inside of the hand grips? Remove those, and a firm pull, and the plastic comes out.

I am having a hard time understanding the huge variences in tunes. For example last weekend at the QLD dyno day i only saw 131kw atw which is average compared to the Sydney crew with weather & heat and different Dyno being mentioned as a possible reason, however I also saw a huge 362nm atw compared to the 269.9nm seen on bfeboi's dyno chart. How can there be 93nms difference??
Anyone??
You can't compare different dynos. Dyno's are inherently inaccurate. They're only useful for doing before and after (tune/mod) comparisions of the same car on the same dyno, and preferably with the same temp/humidity.
