What did you do to your Polo today?

mate i hate to do that, i dont have a stuck up nose mate, only trying to help. Ive fitted these for years and you will appreciate it sticks out like a sore thumb to me, so yeah im not being a smarty i hope i dont come across like that

Got to take the pog for a bit more of a run today.

Brakes keep getting better much better than stock cannot wait to go for a good run on them and cook them in.

I think that the balance is OK not upset by only doing the fronts (I am running sways, H&R springs and bilsteins). They cop punishment well, I cannot make them fade.

The plans are to jump straight to stage 2 - trying to sort a dump pipe, have lots of Forge goodies on order

IMO, with the S3/TT brakes, the bite is easier to access, but the pedal is still light for the 1st 1/2 of its travel as per the stock brakes.

I think the feel is in the pedal setup / tension rather than the brakes.

When you need to stop, they certainly do stop and with a lot less effort.

I think in some ways that is a good way to describe it. My stock brakes were stuffed: worn rotors no pads left when I took it over to Jimmy's for the S3 brakes. In retrospect there was not much bite left in them.

Gone from stuffed stock to slotted 312mm rotors, decent pads, martini fluid and s3 calipers and carriers - should be no surprise that the pedal feels different.

I think I give Jimmy the worries with my eariler post - but it is all good. (\ it is fantastic to deal with someone who cares about their work Jimmy) Massive improvement over stock - they keep getting better as they bed in.

On another front I had the swaybar links replaced. To quote Jimmy "she is quiet as a mouse" I never realised how much noise those were making until it was fixed. The links must of been stuffed.
