It's bouncier like others have said (H&R with stock struts), but the handling has improved comparing to stock springs, (still need to test out the traction). control arm bushes and FSB will be next, then in about 5000 to 10000 km, Bilstein B8.

got my full apr exhaust fitted today (thanks guy and james) as it turns out after i took out my spare and insulation the basin where the spare used to sit just turns it into a big string instrument amplifying the noise. i put the spare in tonight and it was fine. might head over the clark rubber for some solutions tomorrow a nice big piece of insulation foam should do nicely so i can remove that 17kg wheel again . top end is definatly improved and shes got a nice growl to her now.

That is a good plan, looks good dude and the height will settle further over time.

    Looks awesome ef9.
Still trying to decide whether or not to H&R mine. I'm just concerned that the stiffer ride might make the interior rattles heaps worse

Will be interested to see how yours goes over the next few months!

Sold my Polo GTI today. Kinda sorry to see it go as it's been a great (and quick!) little car. I'm getting too old for hot hatches lol, so I've gone for luxury and 4 doors (kiddies growing up fast).

Anyhow, nice to have met you all. I'll look back on my little car with fondness!

    Cheers,
    Mark

How much difference does the FSB make over just the rear one?

Oh any bigger pic of your car

I want to go coilovers but wanting to see if the H&R's are low enough, most people say they are pretty low with the H&R's

when for a trip to clark rubber, filled spare wheel basin custom cut foam, and insulated rest of boot with a tough composite. results are much , much better. also tryed to record exhaust for you tube but unfortunatly i dont have a camera to record it so i used my phone. quite frankly it just doesnt give it justice , ill have to sort out something to record with.
