license valid for 12 months.
last time I went there I paid for the license but they forgot to give it to us LMAO oh well
Depends on the track
For Wakefield you need a Wakefiled licence for a private day. Depends on how public or ameteur the day is. Call the track, sure they'd be happy to help.

it was a scheduled "speed off the streets" day... anyone can turn up with any street car and drive it on the track... there was a bloke there in a turbo diesel astra...
to get your CAMS license:
turn up to the track... fill out a form... pay $50... and they'll give you the license... it's valid for 12 months too... they didn't even ask to see my drivers license or my rego papers... :s

I think you'll find that's just the Track [Wakefield] licence.
CAMS licences are issued by CAMS-you have to be a CAMS car club member, and the forms go through CAMS in Vic.
Having said that, you generally don't need a CAMS licence for a Drive Day,only for Supersrints and such.
in any event ill give the track a call and ask what needs to be done and when.
