Seat intake done, BMC air filter done, Autometer boost gauge done. H@R springs still in boot, charged the battery. Booked in on Tuesday at Derek's for APR reflash and dump pipe.

Just done a Rear TT upgrade to a Pog yesterday and have the pressure issue. I did a Mk2 Gti in the Uk with bigger calipers etc and the exact same happened, the Master cyl doesnt cope. For the Pog i am thinking the high horse TT Master should do the trick, looking into that as we speak.
I remember with the MK2 i put a Corrado master on and bingo, so alarm bells rang last night and im sure thats it, you guys seem to be havion the same issue. Go the Master cyl i reckon fellas

So far the Cupra R has 20mm master , the Pog has 19mm and the high horse TT has 23.5mm, think thats the answer, only now got to check out the pipework configuration.

I think VR ones are really bulky compared to the plastic ones I have seen. My A3 master cylinder is pretty small. The VR would probably go on a mk2 or 3 dead easy.

put SEAT intake in. was a bit of a pain to get it into the airbox inlet. car makes a lot more noise, not sure about performance gain, but when BMC airfilter comes proably will become a bit more obvous.

Today I finished the ipod nano adapter/input/holder thingy

Basically I got one of these

[VW AUX IN MP3 IPOD Interface Adaptor] from ebay...it is the cheap one that DOESN'T allow control from the stereo...it just plugs in to the cd changer port at the back of the head unit and has rca inputs. It comes with a rca to 3.5mm stereo plug. Installation was a breeze - remove the headunit - plug it in and ground it on the back of the headunit. The actual unit sits in a little space under the headunit.

Then I got 2 of these second hand from ebay

[Griffin TuneFlex Aux 2.0 for iPod Nano]. As I intended to rip them apart I didn't want to do it to a new one and I got two incase I stuffed one up.

I dissasembled the cigarette light plug end and tapped into the power from the ipod adaptor thing....it has switched power - (power is on when the stereo is on)

The top end I cut off - soldered the wires back together (there was no way I could see to remove the steel goose neck without disconnecting the wires.

It is mounted on the useless credit card holder thing. It is screwed and glued into place. Next up I modified one of the acrylic ipod holders that came with the griffin to enable the ipod to be slid in and out.

    The good:
The result is great - it is easy to put in and out, the griffin charges the ipod as it is being used so I have the screen set to always on, it takes the music from the usb so it is decent quality sound. Volume is adjusted using headunit. When the headunit is turned off the ipod pauses - and with the power saving feature on the ipod switched on it will turn it's self off in a couple of minutes. It is easy to reach to press the next song etc.

    The Bad:
The ipod will remain in pause when the headunit is turned back on - so you have to press play (this is no great hardship just annoying). Also positioned where it is you can't quite see ithe whole screen because of the steering wheel which means you can't watch the videos as you are driving along... lol
