I never really noticed the heatsoak effect when stock but now that its chipped, its pretty hard to avoid on a day like today. Sometimes you feel like there is no boost at all on a scorcing hot day. But take it out in the cool evening and its a whole different story. Also as you have found, the car's ECU is constantly changing due to the way you drive the car & I personally think you don't get true full power out of the chip tune until you have driven for a good couple of tanks of fuel. So you should find it just gets better and better. Also upgrading the induction will also bring out the power in the car. Start with a K&N panel filter. You'll really notice it.
Hey Mozz, I wouldn't have believed the DP and HFC staves off heatsoak a little longer but I reckon its true. My drive is 40mins home from work and I don't reckon I'm heatsoked by the end of it...yep 37 degrees....

I'd say so if you didn't notice much of a change driving home in yesterday's heat. Must admit felt hotter than 37deg. 37Deg doesn't 'sound' so hot these days.

yeah pics please. Did you put then in with the original struts? Glad they look good but how does the car ride now?

It felt hot to me - I had to cycle my MTB from QV1 to Quattro Motors. Not much better today either eh?

Drove the car a good 200kms down the South Western Highway this morning. Had one of those dudes who like to drive slowly until they get to the areas where there's an overtaking lane before they really speed up. Needless to say that with the APR tune, it didn't matter haha.
