1 hour or so. longest part is getting the gauge holder drilled down where u want it.

    $62 gauge (autobahn)
    $25 +/- Gauge pod (autobahn)
and a few coins for zip ties and wires.

I bought a digital tyre/tire pressure gauge today. I've had my GTI for almost three weeks and I wanted to know what the "stock" pressure was before I played around with it to suit my needs.

Turns out, the dealer didn't know either and gave me a range of choices.

    Front Right: 35 psi
    Front Left: 41 psi
    Rear Right: 48 psi
    Rear Left: 39 psi

I couldn't believe it. Thought for sure my gauge was faulty. Went straight to a servo with an digital air compressor and turns out the numbers were accurate.

I decided to set them all on 37 psi to see how it goes. I pulled out of the servo and I couldn't believe how much smoother the ride was. All this time I figured it was just the stiffness of the suspension, but now it's perfect.

today i got a set of Marangoni Zeta Linea's put on. 205/40R17. cost me $204/corner fitted and balanced from JAX Quickfit tyres here on the Gold Coast. feel so good, pretty much all my traction issues are gone both on the launch and turn in . yet to try in wet weather. amazing what a quality set of tread can do. hopefully pics soon.

    This weekend I..

-7500km oil 'n' filter change, Castrol 0W-40 Edge and genuine filter.... For a company so smart, why did they run a wiring loom so the oil drips on to it??

-Adjusted the spot lights, Cibies are now great on the open road. Fitted stabiliser bars, no more wobbles on bumpy roads

    -Rotated tyres

-150mm high black vinyl sticker across the top of the windscreen.

-Raised front of drivers' seat 10mm

-Had a passenger break my cup holder
