I try an experience today!
I found a set o TT225 fuel injectors, 0280156063. They are 36lb/h injectors.
The stock injector is the 0280156061 and has 30lb/h.
I spent 20min to remove and assemble the TT injectors in place, and lost another 40min and 3 bolts trying to bolt on the fuel rail!
Ok
What I find out… At low and medium rpm’s the car gets better, I felt improved throttle response, but….. at 5000rpm, when the turbo starts to lose boost, the car get rich and bye bye power… If, maybe, a k04 turbo could feed air at hi rpm’s.
I need upgrades!

After extensive testing by APR, Guy was good enough to share the following information a while ago:
.... bigger injectors are not needed by a Polo GTI untill you go to a turbo larger than a K04.
.... you do not need a 4bar FPR untill you go to a K04 and beyond.
.... a N75 "race" valve serves no purpose and will possibly contribute to the surging issues described elsewhere on this forum.
.... chipped only cars will run happily with no issues with no other modifications required unless you want more power .
This may help some of you in making (often poor) decisions when it come to modifications.
Really worthwhile cost effective performance mods (in no particular order) are:
exhaust (ordown pipe and cat)
FMIC
turbo inlet pipe (TIP)
diverter valve (or blow off depending on your preference)
high flow air filter
intake feed modification (commonly a SEAT intake)
I just paid my rego too.
But I only got CTP and Rego for 6 months, then in 6 months time I will renew for 1 year so the rego will then be due in July every year rather than January.
Insurance I will get for 1 year so my rego and insurance will never be due at the same time.
I almost forgot the rego and CTP cost $345 for 6 months as opposed to $675 for a year, so it costs a little more but for me its worth it...
booked it in to get my O2 sensors replaced under warranty.... :(
on a lighter note, last night i bought some more engine mods
