I'm going stg 1 on the 24th of next month and stg 2 a couple of months after that. After that I'm doing leather interior (maybe Recaro's), audio and then I'll be saving for stg 3. So stg 3 is a fair way down the track.

I'm waiting impatiently for Pumaspeed to send me the Milltek centre section I ordered 10 days ago (awaiting parts apparently) so I can pair it up with the catless Milltek DP that's sitting in my shed and get them on the car - desperately looking forward to Gavin's stage 2. The stage 1 is certainly a vast improvement, but I miss the extra kick and minimal lag my old POG had on stage 2.
Meanwhile, just ordered the right hand mirror glass from a UK eBay seller. The old one fell out and connected with the road the other day. About a month ago I was lucky enough to catch the left hand one before that hit the road...WTF! The local glass shop glued that one back in, so we'll see how long it lasts.
Should last ages if you use a good glue.
I repaired one with araldite years ago, heaps more than the glue VW used, it'll out live the car now.
Also unplugged the heater element as well as that's probably a contributing factor. Consider doing it if you pull the mirror caps off, it's straightforward.
Installed PD160 CAI and reamed out the very restrictive inlet that screws in behind the grill. Butt dyno suggests some more go at higher speed...not sure if that's ram air effect, or I'm just dreaming.
Going to a meet up tomorrow so got the clay bar out and waxed. Not too shabby for an 11 year old car.

APR Stage 1 tune upgrade done today with a 20% off sale over here in Adelaide for today only.
I had the exhaust light come on a couple of nights ago, they scanned prior to the tune and said it was the secondary air injection. APR now have a tune for the secondary air injection delete so they gave me that upgrade at no extra charge. Can go ahead and order the blanking plates etc now.
I can't believe I waited 6 years to do the tune . What a difference!
