Just about to click over 150kkms. Car is still feeling brand new - running really well, had the APR tune for about 40kkms and no stress at all. Took it up to the hills last night and had some fun - performed really well uphill however noticed brakes fading a bit on the way down.. To be expected though (still using stocks) Developed a funny idle recently so going to clean the MAF this weekend and hope for the best.

Wondering if I bite the bullet and upgrade the brakes or just wait as I'll buy moving on from the POG family soon

New discs and pads aren't much over $200 in stock sizes. GSLRallysport is the place. When you say fading, was the pedal staying hard and the brakes going off. (pads) or was the pedal going soft and braking reduced (fluid)??

Got my water injection system finished last night. Everything working beautifully. I wasn't logging, just testing for leaks and that it wasn't bogging down. Main thing was that seat of the pants I could really feel the difference especially in the midrange. I had really only installed it as an insurance policy for the internals so was really glad to feel actual gains with water only. Not bad for a $150 outlay (lots of time though.
Once I get the boost trigger point dialled in, I'll do some with and without WI logs to see what the temps, g/s and timing pull are doing.

Did a 2500km road trip last week to spend an afternoon driving at Sydney Motor Sport Park (Eastern Creek). We had expected to be on the GP format but found out just prior that they decided to run the 4.5km, 18 corner Brabham instead. Oh well, was still a good experience as it is a longer and more technical format. It was as a slower circuit than I had expected, but more technical the QR and lakeside. Will have get back again to run the GP format as that flows better. Was also good to see a handful of Ferrari's getting driven like they're meant to.

Compared inlet temperatures before and after my bodgy JustJap inter cooler and was surprised. Before, on a 40 deg day, inlet temp would just keep climbing when driving along, settling down around 58 deg. Now with FMIC, it sits on around 42, goes up when you stop and quickly drops again when you get moving. Pretty pleased actually
