    Hoyhoy.

Not too bad, have a very small rub on full lock with the inner guard when it is set to track camber of -3% plus, other wise its OK.
The 225/45/16 is 18mm smaller in diameter than the 215/45/17, that's what helps.
    P.S. Rim offset = 35mm
    Hooroo.

    This weekend gone.

Dynamat'd the whole polo, or at least as much as a bulk kit will do. Threw some across the wheel arches all through the back of the car. Highly recommended. PITA to do, mind you. There's enough photos on here already so didn't bother. Oh, if you're going to do it, buy a damn roller.

Fixed the bastard stereo tuning, as much as I could between a JVC head unit and a fusion powered sub... Sounds at least as good as a set of Shure IEMs I use as a reference which is a huge and pleasant surprise. Now I'm wondering what could be achieve for a couple hundred bucks on ebay'd on sale stuff.

Got wet, again thanks to the damn roof racks.

GOT FED UP WITH GETTING WET.

So, I had a bit of a look the door frame, leaned on it. Rolled the window down and gave it a gentle shove. Wow is there some movement there! Gently gently, I pulled the window frame towards the car with the door open and my knee against the door frame. I must have close the frame up by about 5mm with just my body weight. The outer seal is now sitting tight around the body, and even around the roof rack. Who'd have thought?

Thought my manual boost controller was struggling with the low morning temps here in sydney when I noticed extra mysterious PSI's being added onto my boost peaks. Played it safe and plumbed the N75 back in with it unplugged and found that it was still boosting beyond 7psi. hmm. Sure enough the wastegate hose had begun to split at the actuator nipple. Boost gauge is my friend...without it I never would have seen that one coming and that could have ended in tears. New silicon lines coming soon.

Swiss cheesed my air box. Made a lot of noise and car actually seemed to be more responsive. Drone from the intake started to piss me off.

Put duct tape over the holes and the noise is gone... And the car actually seems less responsive..... Placebo because of the noise or real???

Either way, I Ordered some 3" hose to replace the poxy intake pipe.

Hey guys, can I safely fit 225 width tyre on an 8" rim? Currently running a 215, but found semi slicks in 225 for what appears to be a good price.

    I'm pretty sure that's Eddy's configuration.

According to the Hankook Ventus and Advan spec pages, 8" is the optimum rim for 225s
