KW do recommend using their strut tops, so if looking at the V3's, considering going clubsports to get the tops. Was a $500 difference on top of the $2700 I'd been quoted locally on V3's, so not cheap.
I'll have a look at the FK springs and Kmac hats tonight to see how that worked as I can't recall.

Yes mate, the top hats that were on the FK's were the wrong size for the H&R's. I think the FK springs were narrower, so a smaller top hat. My timely alternative was to source the factory tops.Quote:

See pic below of the Kmacs on the FK strut. The top hat does sit flat on the spring, like the pic Kaanage showed above. There is now evident warping of the kmac tops. Let me know if I can help further.
