SAI delete completed today. Engine bay looks so much neater now. Lets see how long before I get a light.
not quite today, more like 3 weeks ago....
changes my front brake pads and discs (from factory at 63,000kms). used a thread on this forum as a guide (but stuffed if i can find that thread now).
ended up using stock pads and discs.
the whole job took about 3 hours and that included 1 hr hunting around in my toolbox for the correct size torx thingy for the retaining screw. Original pads still had plenty of wear on them, but the little electric cable that triggered the dash warning light was broken.
My cables busted too. Currently Zip tied until I can figure out a better solutionQuote:

Sure did. Pain in the A@# light came on. Zip tieing appears to fix it :)
