check out my boost gauge next time you see me. Looks OEM and isn't in your face.
New South Performance gauge and vent holder from Timmeh (Im not sure if he still stocks them but worth a try?)

Got my car back today. Had Coilovers installed with RSB and whiteline bushes. Will post pics when car is clean.
Painted front and rear badges. Not 100% happy with how they turned out (minor runs etc.) but looks kind of cool. Might refresh them next weekend if i can be bothered.

I went to add a shim to my Forge 008 diverter and thought I'd try flipping it around first as I had read a few reports of that working well. The basic idea is that the boost is not bled by the boost pressure pushing on the piston with the vac helping, but by the vacuum only.
It seems to work well, I don't know if there is a placebo effect, but if it's working the way it feels there is more torque. Not revolutionary, but nice. The squeak of the diverter noise is almost gone, I guess a factor of the way the air moves past the piston, the diverting action on the lowest spring with no shims feels quite natural for the car. Not a good combination with an MBC as this removes the over boost control, but I just run a normal N75 with the 249 valve bypassed.
Anyone else tried this? I'm thinking the operation is more like the diaphragm based systems that are traditionally more expensive and fragile.
Hi mate,
I have the 008 , and it seems to work best with the yellow spring and 1 shim...although I have an ecs race n75 ...
also rem, i have an apr tune
Just fitted the remainder of my interior LED globes. This follows on from the number plate globes, fogs, and parkers...
Also fitted a new drivers outer door seal. After 4.5 years of ownership, living in hot localities, and the drivers door getting the most use, the seal had compressed to a point that I would get a loud and very annoying chatter between the door and car B pillar when going over bumps.
