I don't believe any of this.

I hope "finished" doesn't equate to "totaled" ;)
Made a date with the tune doctor for tomorrow afternoon
lol. cross my heart! put the rear sway on minimum, sorted my (cold) tyre pressures (was disliking the understeer on my new front tyres, but pressure increase changed that :D), set the sway bar to minimum, etc etc...
only "upgrade" from now on will be a bigger turbo when the stocky goes boom (simply because a bigger turbo would be cheaper than getting a stocky to replace it.... it doesnt make isht all sense to me, but i'll play along).
i like the way it handles now, it's predictable, i've managed to dial out much of the understeer i had on the last polo cruise that gavs organised... compared to what it was on that cruise, the little one is noticeably different. a "spirited" couple of laps of yarra bend confirmed it, so for now (AND I MEAN THIS!!!), im happy to just go back to only having to care about normal wear and tear / maintenance costs :)
lol no! im being a very good boy of late - only one speeding ticket in like 2 years (87km/h in the 80 zone, speeding up to 100 just after the mullum mullum tunnel, outbound:facepalm:)
+1
a car is never finished Scotty, you of all people should know this :P there will always be one thing that you will want to change sooner or later ;)

anthracite with a gold fleck to be exact ;)
Downpipe finally gave way and broke clean off the flange...car now sounds literally like a fighter jet and smells like one too... :( :( :(
Can anyone recommend some good exhaust shops in Melbourne? Was just thinking of getting it rewelded while I wait for my new DP to come in...anyone tried Daalder in Dandenong?
Its like being born again... Praise the tuner and the tools of technology, unleashing the Polo's soul to its actual potential...
Amen :cookie:
I have found one side-affect though! Getting rid of the smile is near impossible! Just thinking of the sound and the feel of the turbo coming on boost makes me feel all funny!
Thanks Gavin:bigok:
