Gave her a bath ... she was filthy.

I must say, I've been using Final Inspection's car shampoo and find it really good. I also use their power wheel cleaner which is just insane. Spray on and high pressure off. I don't even touch my wheels anymore with the microfibre mit as it doesn't need it.

Three coats of OCW and she's done. I love cleaning my car, it's very relaxing.

I wash it at once a week, then depending how dirty it gets it can be more but usually just go to the car wash and hose it down mid week so it's black not brown.... yeah I know I'm not normal.

    1. Spent 2 hours yesterday replacing the stock grills with Adam's Honeycomb ones ... finally after procrastinating for a few months.

Was failry easy though I needed 3 different allen keys to remove all the screws .....

Really happy with the look though ....

    Pre fitting

    Post fitting

    then

    2. Spent some time tuning my Forge Diverter valve with a spring tuning kit and managed to get the car to drop .1bar less boost revving through 3rd gear. Some more tuning is needed but the d@mn diverter gets bloody hot.

    and

    3. Gave it a wash. Looks good with the new front ...

What combination of coloured spring and spacer are you using at the moment Sharkie?

tried to change my parkers today... what a waste of time
cbf shredding my hands trying to change them with headlight unit still in. so tried taking them out, then read a little further down in "how to" post that you have to take whole front bar off

On the Fiesta zetec was similar problem with limited room in engine bay, but taking the unit out was a piece o' piss.

Decided to wait till my low-beams come in the post and hopefully the honeycomb grill from group-buy and do them all at once.
There must be a better way of allowing owners access for removal of of the head-lights. (for those of us who don't have watch-maker hands.)

I have a replica FORGE, so had an uncoloured spring. Seemed a bit weaker than a yellow but stronger than a green, so I started with a yellow after cleaning it all out. Ended up with a yellow and a single spacer before it got too hot to work with.

Next weekend I'll up it to a 2nd spacer and probably a 3rd before it gets too hot and the following weekend probably try the blue...... and then make a decision to see which is best.

As it is it now drops from the spike of 1.4bar to 1bar and remains there throughout 3rd gear instead of dropping to 0.9 bar

Feels stronger, as it should as 1 bar sustained is better than 0.9

    ----------------

Took my dad around for a cruise in my new car, went to wisemans ferry via St albans rd. Stupid sign said turn left to wisemans ferry, so i did and found 40km of this road:

Gravel, rocks, sand (some were deep car slided side 2 side!). Couldnt go any faster than 50kph (unless u're stupid really!), my tomtom clearly guided me (I planned the trip but didnt remember seeing this on google maps) LOL oh well, the scenery were just pure amazing! meet some of the locals there, not people jst wildlife. I must say that dirt road is just amazing! there were 2 river crossings, luckily today they were dry!

so after the 3hrs cruise, car got abit sandy but 30mins after getting home @ 7.30pm , car is washed n cleaned
